AG - maybe if you’d have cracked an occasional joke about the obvious cognitive issues occurring on the other side of the aisle this wouldn’t have become a breaking point for me.
I just don’t understand how someone who can speak so intelligently and eloquently about culture and art can then say such stupid and/or tasteless things on other subjects (the GWB getting elected to go after Saddam is just a Hall of Fame inane take).
I’m sure you guys aren’t going to fret over losing one loyal listener. But I can assure you I’m sad and disappointed about it. I’ve been listening to you since your Grantland days. I’ve enjoyed your podcasts over the years and will end by just saying thank you for that.”
