Irresponsible Podcasting
I rarely write reviews but this podcast warrants one. The unfounded assumptions presented in the podcast are not only dangerous because they try to implicate a person who was likely not involved, but because these theories shift the blame away from murderer Chris Watts. It is one thing to present evidence based theories, it is quite another to use this tragedy as a vehicle for your titillating but unfounded assumptions. I felt the victims voices were missing from the narrative. I understand that the focus was on the tapes and perhaps a study of the murderer’s behavior, but the victims lives and voices should always be present too. We must always give Cece, Bella, and Shannan the voice that was so callously stolen from them.
