Tragic murders— unbelievably boring case
Much like the Netflix documentary, this never needed to be made. This is a very familiar family annihilator case that has happened many times before, and was solved with a confession within 24 hours. It’s definitely tragic, but there’s nothing to dissect here. There is no mystery, no twists and turns, no interesting backstory— yet the podcasters have milked an already thin case that could have been summed up in 10 minutes into a long winded docu-series. This would have never received anywhere near the level of public interest if these people weren’t conventionally attractive white people. If you are looking for a great podcast of a similar subject matter, check out Cold. Unlike this podcast, there is an interesting mystery and justification for the length.

Love the way this podcast was done. It definitely feels like lots of time and effort went into making it. I only wish the episodes were a little bit longer.

Great podcast so far can only imagine how much time went into this. Have listened to all of your episodes and now doing my own research.
