Ms. Novelli is an Ocean Elder and serves on the boards of the Pristine Seas Initiative of the National Geographic Society and the National Wildlife Federation. She also runs Listening For America, a non-profit organization that strives to understand American views on international trade and globalization. Ms. Novelli was also the former Under-Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy and the Environment from 2014 to 2017 where she spearheaded a $10 billion ocean conservation project called Our Ocean and served as VP of Worldwide Government Affairs at Apple from 2005 to 2013.
