Cynical, low grade analysis
If you want the view of those aligned with the faceless men of the Labor party, this dull podcast for you. The analysis always has a strong bias towards nothing should change about who is in government. The episode on the Tasmanian election is a case in point: it implies people a making a poor judgement in voting for independents and the only way forward is to vote for the Labor Party (whom the podcasts hosts hilarious describe as a “mass party” despite its record low membership). Yet it never seeks insights into why the Labor party vote was so pathetically low in that election. This podcast also refuses to engage with the international issue that is having a massive impact on domestic politics in Australia, namely the Israel-Gaza conflict.

I could not agree more with Ben. Davis Speers is a total disappointment - how I miss Barry’s insightful questions. Albo was very good and gets better each time he speaks about his plans.

I have post referendum blues and your analysis and humour gave me hope. Frankly , it also scared me to know the reasons behind the No vote. Your energy and intellect shone through. Van and Ben for President! Oops. Wrong country. ;)
