Description
In the early 2010's every single dystopian young adult fantasy novel got a chance at a movie adaptation. Most either bombed at the box office or experienced a mild success before completely disappearing. One of the rare exceptions was The Hunger Games series, which exploded into cinemas in 2012 bringing Jennifer Lawrence mainsteam success. The concept is simple. Put a bunch of kids in an arena and have them kill each other. No wonder everybody loved it.
