Music Heads Just Wanna Have Fun
Is there a better music head duo out there than Lex and Dave? These guys not only know their stuff about music, they remind me what is so fun about discovering and exploring new and old sounds from a wide range of artists. Zero pretensions and tons of laughs as they take deep dives on bands to get to the really good stuff on the edges of the music. I learned so much from the one on Marvin Gaye. The most recent Hated Albums episode was also great. You can’t go wrong listening to The Well of Sound but if you do, Lex’s radio voice will smooth things over and Dave’s yowzas will get you back on track.

Sure, I don't know half the names these two drop, but it doesn't matter, because their adorkable joy in playing music for each other is what keeps me tuning in. They give me new ears for well-worn hits and take me deep into the bootleggers'...Read full review »
