A Treat
These two lovable nerds wrote the playbook for tv show-accompanying podcasts with this excellent podcast. I listened every week the past few years, and had put off listening to a few of the special later season episodes (ie graphic design, casting the pilot) but finally finished, and I couldn’t recommend it more. Obviously the material they covered was some of the best television ever made, but it wasn’t without faults, and these two are quick to point out areas that don’t hold up to the higher standards we hold to culture in 2020 in terms of diversity and inclusion. Finally, I’ll say you don’t have to be political to participate in this podcast. There are interviews with writers and directors and actors and camera operators and set designers, as well as policy makers and social justice advocates.
