“Can’t stress how much I love this podcast! I recently caught up on all the episodes, and now arrived at the weekly basis the episodes are released on it feels like straight withdrawal to me not to listen all the time, so I might start re-listening.
Formidable content in terms of the wealth of information imparted from scientific, naturalist and enthusiast perspectives and the breadth of areas and aspects covered, and it’s also just plain fun to tune in to. Many of the topics addressed over the course of the time that whalenerds episodes have been airing have inspired profound reflection in me and a reconsideration and restructuring of views, which has been incredibly valuable.
Love the discussions of film projects, personal travels and encounters with different cetacean populations, other marine life, fascinating guest interviews, etc. So exciting you guys are now running a whole whale watching project for listeners, amazing how this project is progressing!
The whalenerds podcast isn’t just a podcast, it’s an experience; I’m in Europe, usually fairly far removed from anything whale-related, and hearing of whale sightings in completely different parts of the world as well as details on locations and nature over there is what I never knew I needed to help soothe wanderlust as well as to keep up to date on cetacean news. Enriching beyond articulation, and I look forward to every new episode and hope to be able to get to join some of the whale watching trips sometime!
Best wishes from Scotland/Germany!”
