“Overall, I like it enough to keep listening, but only just so
I’m not trying to be cynical or overly critical but there are a few things that just bring the enjoyment to a screeching halt in every. single. episode.
The first is the portrayal of Graham........this is supposed to be realistic soooooooo.........and I like his other work I just feel like this is very out of place from the rest of the cast who are mostly doing a pretty solid job.
Secondly, at this point the “starting in one language and cross fading into another” is just SUPER annoying. It was cool the first 2 times, and I mean the first 2 times. After that it was like, Yup, we get it, they are talking in their native tongue....coooool
There’s the negatives out the way (mostly) and the story has enough potential in my imagination to see if this lands in as crazy of a place as I’m hoping, but I feel like at this point there should’ve been some more movement in the story as all we’ve learned is there’s a mysterious cave discovered on a repair expedition with a diverse group of people. That’s it. IMO less journaling and more happenings would be better, but you seem to be going in a good direction (if we could get there sooner than later though that’d be awesome).”
