“Father De Young’s commentary is patient and thorough. He digs deep, though his tone is conversational and not didactic. I feel like I’m sitting there in his Bible study, learning from his teaching in a personal way. The only problem is that Father De Young’s companions are speaking off the mic. I can hear Fr. De Young’s voice loud and clear, but the questions and comments of his companions are barely audible, at least on my headphones. So part of the conversation is being lost, which is disorienting at times. If you could mic up Fr. De Young’s interlocutors, that would take this podcast to the next level, and I’d probably give it 5 stars. Thank you to Fr. De Young and Ancient Faith Ministries for putting out this quality show, where the host is not afraid to “get granular” — in a good way, of course.”
