“I love how the recent guest, a chiropractor who cannot prescribe, criticizes prescribers for recommending thyroid replacement for patients with hypothyroidism, indicating that it is a “cash cow” for the pharmaceutical companies. Levothyroxine is a $4 RX at Walmart. So much for an unbiased view. I wonder how much he charges patients for his “functional medicine” appointments and/or supplements to “treat” hypothyroidism. Talk about a cash cow, but not for the pharmaceutical companies. When you have a hammer, everything is a nail.”
