WW2 Podcast for the WW2 Specialist
I listened to the interview with Dr. Sangster about Field Marshal Lord Alanbrooke, and it was truly fantastic. Both very interesting and highly entertaining. Sangster was sage in his evaluation of Brooke, and Angus never missed a beat. I was suitably impressed. The only critique I can give is not about the content, but production related. Obviously anytime you’re a host conducting remote interviews with guests, you’re at the mercy of countless factors you cannot control regarding their audio quality during recording. But for what you can control, I would encourage Angus to better acoustically treat his recording space to help dampen the reverb/echo picked up on his track. In addition to considering a new mic, because the current one sounds thin and somewhat tinny. You’re first class mate, no reason you shouldn’t sound like it as well. Good show!
