Regrettably, I wasn’t always this financially savvy. I was FRUGAL. I would save every penny to my name and thought investing was the surefire route to bankruptcy. But once I started educating myself (i.e. reading books, listening to friends’ advice, taking courses), it was like a whole new world. I wish I learned more about how to invest, budget (within reasonable means), and obtain financial independence. The school system failed not only me, but millions of Millennials and Gen Z in this aspect. If the school system won’t educate their students on these things, I will! Due to my own research, and admittedly a lot of trial and error, I paid off my student loans within a year and a half, have a 800+ credit score, no debt, and have a net worth of nearly $200k at only 25 years old. I want to teach my peers how to become financially savvy so that they can have the future of their dreams!
