Too much rambling and poorly researched
Found this podcast after some googling to find a new podcast to listen to. I love podcasts that retell events/history etc. Scrolled down to the beginning and found one that sounded good about the mining accident in beaconsfield. It was 1:11 long so I was like, awesome!! It took 36 minutes before they even got to the story! I don’t mind a bit of chit chat but it was way too long I had to keep skipping. Also, they kept referencing Wikipedia as what seemed like their only source for this podcast. If I wanted to read a the Wikipedia page on the event I would. Also the host who was retelling the story kept saying ‘I think?’ after claiming something. It seemed very poorly researched. This episode was from mid 2020 so I’m not sure if it’s become better researched since then but I don’t really want to waste my time finding out.

So glad to hear Mel and Josie back, and with an even wider range of zesty stories from the Land Down Under!
