“OMG. If anyone is a trauma survivor and feeling overwhelmed right now please don’t listen to this episode it will make you feel ten times worse. With the current situation and the overwhelm most of us are feeling comes a lack of energy and motivation, even depression. All the things she’s listed as being helpful during this lockdown made me even more stressed: eat well, exercise more, limit your online activity, don’t play computer games, don’t let your kids see you stressed and on and on. Even on my VERY BEST days I find this kind of “perfect good girl” living takes monumental amounts of effort, let alone during a Covid lockdown. Ugh. Off to have a large glass of wine.”
