“I just finished the 6th and last episode (of the season?? 🤞) of the CBC podcast “They and Us” and I strongly recommend it to EVERYONE regardless of belief systems and viewpoints or maybe because of the diversity of these.
Cis gender- pronoun use, transgender and other queer identifications is very new in our society.
Many do not accept these changes and I am not proposing that you listen to this podcast to change those views or even to start a discussion about them. I am proposing that you listen so that you can humanize the topic for yourself.
This podcast does such a great job of humanizing the concepts
Because in the end that is exactly what you are discussing when voicing an opinion about this shift in societal norms-
a human with feelings and experiences that most of us are not familiar with or aware of.
Take the time to educate yourself!!”
