“I’m generally a very positive person and I don’t usually leave reviews especially bad ones. However, It’s really hard to hear Shanan talk about how she’s raising a black boy to be good to a black woman. As a single white mom to a mixed son with his dads side completely out of the picture by choice, I try everyday to teach him to be good to all people and will encourage him to be good to all women regardless of who he chooses to bring home when he’s older. (Shout out to whoever in the back around was like “to all women”)! Yes he knows he’s mixed but that doesn’t define him it’s only part of what makes him, him & I encourage him to embrace all parts of himself. It’s also hard to hear her talk about the whole COVID thing in schools because like Chey said it’s all opinion based everyone’s going to do what they think is best for their child. Also, this isnt a new thing the pandemic has been around for the last few years so I was confused on the hard convos happening now all the sudden. I fully support everyone making their own choices for their families, however complaining on a public platform based off a decision you made is hard to listen to. I thought it was tough to hear the silence of R & Chey but also there wasn’t really anything to say when she was complaining.”
