C. Mohan is an Industrial Designer by profession, and a painter by hobby. A graduate of National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, he further studied Jewellery Manufacturing Arts at the Gemological Institute of America, in LA, USA. He is passionate about education and had been running his own 'unconventional' school in Coimbatore for seven years. He then moved to the Accessory design department of NIFT, Bengaluru where he was the Chairperson of the Accessory Design Program. Later he joined DJ Academy of Design. He is currently a permanent faculty at Thazhal Institute of Design and Environment Studies (TIDES) & the Chairman of Acades Educational and Charitable trust. Originally posted on 25th Mar, 2019.
