Ugh. I’m out. Social justice warriors masquerade as historians.
I tried to give this podcast a chance. I listened, patiently for months but it never gets better. I wanted to love it. But it’s nothing special. It’s just b-grade leftist drivel by a brave new generation of “woke” young commentators who gleefully throw stones from their comfortable 21st century vantage point. Perhaps this is all millennials are capable of. They have but one paintbrush with which to paint: “On this day in history, America was racist, and here’s how.” Their “historian” has literally made a career making fun of conservatives. I love esoteric history in general, but I just can’t stomach their weekly dose of leftist bias. This is not history. It’s not even journalism. It’s esoteric, but not historical. I’m unsubscribing.
