“My husband and I adore old-time comedy radio shows and Jack is the best of th best. And This Day in Jack Benny is the best of the JB podcasts! We know; we have listened to all of them.
John Henderson has a very pleasing voice and his intros are superb. He’s done so much research to provide context for each episode, often playing little bits of songs, commercials, movies etc that are referenced or spoofed in that show. He’s all about sharing the world at the time of the broadcast and making the experience as close as it could be without actually sitting around the radio during the original broadcast. And his intros aren’t about him or how clever he is or how much he adores the show, unlike another popular JB podcaster.
Quality of the shows is always top-notch. If you want to immerse yourself in fun, clever, light-hearted comedy, this is the place!”
