“As another person that grew up as a teen boy and is now no longer a boy (non-binary in my case) but also grew up in a household where teen girl movies played on the regular. I used to wrestle with my enjoyment of many of these films and the social backlash from my peers (mostly boys). This podcast helps to lay the conflicting thoughts I might have had about these films on the table and discuss them earnestly, while also showing how these films are not always entirely emblematic of the teen experience. BJ and Harmony are some of the most genuine people out there and I am glad that this podcast exists. Maybe one day soon when the world isn’t so crazy I’ll be able to tell them both in-person how much this podcast means to me.”
