“I’ve been listening for years and thought I had left this review long ago. THOB is one of my very favorite podcasts, and I try not to let my ears raw dog reality… so that is saying something.
The hosts are charming, insanely well-informed, and even after 200 shows with plenty of in-jokes, it’s still accessible for new listeners. (I personally find it hard to recommend long-running pods to many friends for this reason, but THOB is one of those rare shows I can send to non-listening friends when I know they’d enjoy a single episode and not require any additional context.)
I love Joe and Chris equally, which is also uncommon in the land of dual-hosted pods. My only gripe is that they have neither ads nor a Patreon, and I would personally love to know they are being paid for their time and their genius.
