“After listening to literally 1700+ hours of actual play podcasts across many game platforms, I’ve seen the rapidly sliding scale from high production value to horrifying Skype-ins.
These guys are the distilled down version of play everyone wants to get in on. They have fun and are funny, occasionally breaking off the DMs leash, usually with wonderful storytelling results. They RP while remaining mindful to avoid over meta gaming, but best of all, they’re great examples of the community.
Though there are no female players, there’s no gatekeeping or misogynistic undertones. Everyone is respectful of pronouns when it comes up, and even when the jokes veer toward the naughty, they aren’t offensive. (And always make me laugh)
All in all, I highly recommend this show. It’ll help fill those days you can’t be rolling with your friends.”
