It’s one of THOSE shows
You’ll learn about topics you probably wouldn’t discover on your own. You’ll hear intelligent people that talk shows derived from NPR and PBS ignore militantly. You’ll definitely laugh, you’ll probably cry. You’ll crave every episode because somehow, This Is Hell! makes the apocalypse somewhat less alienating. Chuck just might be one of the best interviewers alive and working. Give it a try. Give them some money while you’re at it. When I save up some more bucks from my latest underpaid job, I’m donating to them again, because they actually deserve it for improving my outlook on life. This show goes great with crappy jobs, exercise, road trips, gardening, cannabis and/or alcohol. I’ve recently given up on alcohol, and I can report I retain much more of what I learn on This Is Hell! than I used to, so it’s more rewarding to follow up on the articles and books and actions by the wonderful guests, which at least helps me feel smarter. Certainly you’ll find which application of This Is Hell! works best for you. Subscribe! I will be! You can always go back to Glenn Beck or All Things Considered or Rachael Maddow or whatever awful nonsense helps keep on the blinders. A sincerely devoted listener, Bull Fang
