After receiving his own name, Dresden fulfilled Modarua's request for a soul and finds himself waking up back in the Nightshade Plane where he first made the pact he's been saddled with for several weeks.  Back on the Material Plane, Flint deals with a small flying creature, aka a phoenix, while Macekor makes a deal with one of the largest, most cunning flying creatures alive.
