“I love listening to UK finance podcasts. Especially when they deal with both current affairs, recessions, pensions and investments. Non of us know know everything, and hearing financial opinions for the British market assists in making financial decisions for those of us muddling through the mess unaided by financial planners.
I’d like to hear more about cost cutting strategies for working class households from people who are having to live on the breadline. Giving advice on Batch baking/ cooking, utilising the oven space and the fuel economically, such as baking a cake whilst cooking a joint/ making scones whilst making Yorkshire Puddings, if you’ve got a gas oven it may be cheaper to use the slow cook setting and make things like pudding as well as a stew and keeping the chill off the home whilst cooking meals instead of buying electric gagets.”
