“Listened to the first two episodes and they were very good although there are issues I have with the podcasts.
Narrator: The narrator is just not good fit for this type of podcast. He’s to soft and weak sounding and that to me makes him unbelievable but also makes the stories feel weak. The narrator also fills in to much, let the veteran talk more. Even if you script a few things to help paraphrase parts of the true story I’d rather hear the veteran tell it.
Music: What is going on with this dang music, it’s a terrible fit and it’s sloppily places throughout the podcast. It need to change or go.
Commercials: Put them at the beginning or end because right in the middle takes away from the story. I understand the need for them but it just totally wrecks the story.
The Good: This podcast gets a good message out to the people. I think it has the right idea getting veterans stories out there for people to hear. People forget how hard war is and how it must be for young people to live threw these really tough situations. As a veteran myself it helps to hear others talk about their issues and relate that to myself. It helps me knowing that I’m not along and this podcast get that message out there. Thanks.”
