“As someone who is interested in the paranormal but doesn’t actually believe in it, I appreciate that Kit and Rory at least attempt at skepticism in This Paranormal Life. While some episodes I feel they they say “yes” too readily to a case without scrutinizing it, like with the recent “family attacked by alien egg” episode. But overall, our dynamic duo do actually make attempts to be skeptical, something other paranormal podcasts don’t do. Not to mention Rory and Kit are hilarious and fun to listen to. They have excellent chemistry as a comedy duo. I also have to give the two credit for introducing me to several paranormal incidents that I never heard of. I enjoy cross referencing and studying more on the topics they discuss.
My only real criticism is that the skepticism and standards to whether or not a case is paranormal to be more consistent. Which I believe can be rectified by researching counter-claims to these cryptids and phenomena.”
