“The pilot episode of this podcast takes a hilarious intellectually stimulating dive into spiritual enlightenment via letting go of the ego. What an appropriate topic for a podcast that sets itself apart because Michael Gungor refuses to engage here in the superficial moralism or immature deprecation of the Church that so many other post-Christian podcasts lazily use to garner popularity. All of that is tied up in the ego - which must be let go to obtain spiritual maturity. THIS podcast is a delightful pleasure to listen to. The only problem is that once you have listened to it, you can’t have listened to it because you can’t listen to (or do) anything - in that you are not a distinct “you.” It’s just the universe listening to itself. That’s cool, too, I guess.”
