“this podcast and live show has been my quarantine savior. stephen and all of the callers are hilarious and have a good rapport with each other, and they all have very distinct likes and dislikes, so it’s great hearing everybody’s opinions.
i enjoy the fact that there’s almost always someone who dislikes a song or has some critique of it; in the world of k-pop stans, it feels like there’s often a lot of blindly stanning songs by artists you love or bashing songs by artists you hate without thinking about the actual song itself. the callers often talk about the backing track, producers, vocals, performance, and it’s thrilling to hear everyone’s opinions.
the live show is such a treat, I look forward to it every week. the chat always has a laugh, and it’s so great to hear so many varied opinions and gain insight into parts of k-pop you might not be as familiar with. i highly recommend joining the discord for tons of content and conversations throughout the week. the community is super loving and tight-knit but easy to fit in with, and has been such a warm place for me since we can’t really see friends and extended family often.
