We talk about the value of the arts and what it means to be able to choose a direction in life, how choice is only as real as the options someone has available to them, and how he values giving that to his kids. We talk about what he wishes did not exist in this world, and the complete lack of value that its presence has in the world as a whole. Silas is a man that chooses to seek more, more growth, knowledge, experience, time with others, and more to pass on to the next generation.
