“Trevor and Matt’s insight and experiences really treat you to wrestling through their eyes. In general I like wrestling recap podcasts to take me through quieter parts of my day with a mental image of matches from the past playing in my minds eye. More often than not I’ve never seen them and don’t plan to look them up, maybe I’ll search out clips to see the most spectacular spots described. But wrestling is a rich world to delve into, and I’ve only been a fan since 2018 or so. Listening to long term fans, who I don’t always agree with but usually find level headed and thoughtful, gives context to my modern appreciation of the wrestling scene. So many of the fixtures of todays scene were honing their craft in roh in the years this podcast focuses on. I was living in the northeastern US at the time, blissfully unaware that history was in the making right down the road, because I wasn’t a fan yet. This podcast takes you right in to the action, gives it a bit of context, and is a great companion to coffee and a commute or winding down at night.”
