Thanks for everything!
This show has been my constant companion for the best part of a decade. The political and cultural commentary has been invaluable, especially through the choppy waters of Brexit and Covid. The banter has been, as Toby put it, like eavesdropping on two blokes in the pub every Sunday night. That said, last night’s announcement didn’t really come as a surprise. The last few months haven’t always made for great listening. James appears to have gone mad and become increasingly objectionable and discourteous. Toby has been a model of graciousness in response but it’s hugely frustrating not to have proper responses to Toby’s arguments. I was always hoping that we might have the opportunity to hear James defend some of his more nutty views in the face of Toby’s forensic analysis but sadly that didn’t happen. So, its demise is inevitable but I’m going to miss the show hugely and it was great while it lasted. Thanks both so much for everything.

Superb listening and essential tonic to the...Read full review »
