Tired and jaded
Thank god Toby has put this show out of its misery. I’ve loved listening to this podcast’s contrarian political takes from a conservative and libertarian perspective for years, but sadly Jame’s steady descent into what is either covid derangement conspiracy madness, or just pure grifting, has made each week’s episodes progressively more painful to absorb. Things really jumped the shark with James doubling down on the Macca conspiracy, with the assertion that the Beatles had been manufactured by ‘the Cabal’. But when he attempted to justify the anti-Semitic tropes in his Cabal narrative… I don’t blame Toby for pulling the trigger.

As a working class Irish republican, well everyone else is doing identity politics so why not me, I find this exchange surprisingly enchanting. A warm exchange, for the most part, between two people who’s critical faculties have yet to be carted off to the gulag! Bravo!

Thoroughly enjoy listening to London calling. Fantastic witty intellectual analysis from Toby and great put downs from James. The highlight is getting to the end and enjoying the song to finish. Very good choices so far. Keep up the good work lads. 👍
