QUESTION: in regards to Myrtle and Dumbledore never asking her about her death, is it possible that Riddle put some sort of secret keeping spell around the topic that only impacted teachers at the school? So perhaps Dumbledore couldn’t find out the truth even if he did ask and he also didn’t want to get someone else to ask to expose the potential truth or potential rumors to the whole wizarding community of a monster at Hogwarts or that another student actually did it etc. Deeper conspiracy: what if Dippet did the secret spell on Myrtle so the cover up would work?
