Incredible.
This is the kind of historical context we all need in order to make sense of complex global relationships. Thank you to NPR and this show’s creators for bringing us such thorough and useful reporting on long-term global politics. I heard about the show from bonus episode on Up First, which I listen to daily, and I feel this podcast is a great new program which well-justifies my monthly financial contribution to my local NPR station. It truly feels like NPR has become the BBC of America, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to become deeply informed.

Fantastic idea for a show - the first episode looking at US intervention in Iran was an area of history I never knew. Typical great quality of NPR podcasts- keep it up!

In a world of instant reactions and Tweetstorms, this podcast goes back and digs up historical details that illuminate our present. I’m looking forward to much more great content.
