Disappointed
Factually lacking, focuses on surface issues ignoring the complex social realities of the North. Fails to lift the facade on the very Federal and Provincial frameworks and legislation which have made the social problems in the North so insidious. The problems facing Thunder Bay cannot be distilled down into the divisive rhetoric this podcast presents. It’s a shame, there is an important conversation to be had, but this podcast treats Thunder Bay like a zoo animal, glimpsing at it, taking pleasure in the grisly aspects, but ultimately unwilling to truly understand it within its full context.
