How to make history tiring
Talks too fast with no sense of drama or pacing. Has a promo (ad?) at the START of the show!? We’re not talking just 15 or even 30 seconds, but it goes on for quite awhile and even includes a portion of the program being promoted - and sounds a heck of a lot more interesting than Tides. Listening to Carlin or Snow and then listening to this dude is like culture shock. Can only assume that the people who like Tides are taking a step back to the “good old days” of podcasting. No pace, no continuity, and a guy who’s trying to talk real fast cause it’s so “exciting”.

Listened to the first two and found my insatiable thirst for knowledge nearly quenched for the day. If you want lots of thoughtful and articulate accounts of histories that you may have not previously known of, this is the Poscast for you.
