We're heading back to Motown for this episode! Our first look at perhaps the top female pop group all-time: Diana Ross & The Supremes!! Find out which record they held in the '60s for #1's--right behind Elvis and the Beatles. Tim's "Little Known Recording Artist...BIG contribution" is a saxophonist who did a ton of work with Paul McCartney & Wings in the mid-late 70s...and Frank has a terrific, if not campy, "Guilty Pleasure." This week, Season 9 continues as Frankie and I discuss the 6 "Soon-to-be Hits" making their debut on the Hot 100 Chart; 3 of these would hit #1...also, Frank as a great "Guilty Pleasure" from Eddy Grant (1983); Tim's is a #1 from Wham! just a year later! We'll take a new look at Crosby, Stills Nash & (Young) as this week's Featured Artist. And keep in mind, we're just a little more than a month away from our "Big 3rd Anniversary Show," set to air on Nov. 27th.

Smokey Robinson & The Miracles are this week's Featured Artist! Frank & I are excited to bring this one to you--Smokey got together with members of the Miracles back in 1958, and stayed with the group until 1972. Also this week, Frank has a terrific "Guilty Pleasure" as do I from the mid-60's. Keep in mind, our "BIG 3rd Anniversary Show" is just a few weeks away; it's set to air on Nov. 27th.

Episode 13 has The Four Tops as our Featured Artist!! That tremendous Motown sound of the 60s & early 70s (and later!) from the singing group that was together for several decades without any personnel changes. At long last! Lynyrd Skynyrd is our Featured Artist this week! Frank and I love this southern rock band and we're happy to bring this episode to you. Also this week, a great 1-Hit Wonder from the summer of '73, and our Hall of Fame albums will be Alan Parsons Project "I Robot" and Badfinger's "Straight Up. Our "Cover vs. Cover" comes from the early 70s with a song written by Joni Mitchell and sung by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, then covered by British artist Matthews Southern Comfort....
