Love, Light, Laughter!
I fell in love with the L Word here in Barbados as a young queer man in 2004 and revisiting it through this podcast has been eye-opening. Like the hosts I like all the shows but I’m also aware of how uneven the show was. This is a good mix of queer culture, media criticism and co-host camaraderie. Riese and Karlie have great chemistry and the introduction of new guests each week in season two and three keeps it fresh.

Hanging with Riese and Carly is like hanging with friends. Listening to them recap The L Word has seriously been the bright point in a terrible year. I highly recommend this podcast.

It’s making me want to watch the show again...but also giving me all the satisfaction of watching with none of the cringe. If you like/love/hate the L word, and are excited/ambivalent/horrified about the reboot, this is the show for you!
