“This podcast makes my heart soar so much. I grew up with a lesbian mom and I remember her L Word watching parties in my living room. I was never invited but would pass through to see what all the ~adults watched. Never knowing it would be something I could see myself in.
Years later I would realize that I’m also a lesbian - my friends and I would then start having watching parties, giggling and watching through the problematic things to see ourselves on screen.
Now I’m older and so much more confident in myself and a huge fan of Riese and Kristin. This podcast is so incredible because it feels like watching L Word with your two very funny and insightful friends. They are both so charming and magnetic to listen to and their takes are funny, truthful, and queer. I can’t wait to listen to all of this and start a watch in tandem with the podcast with my girlfriend! Thanks ladies for what you’re doing, this is so excellent.”
