Funny, nostalgic and relevant.
I watched the The L Word when I first came out because obviously that’s what you do. It’s an interesting show because it was so groundbreaking and in many ways I loved it, but it also has its problems. What I am loving about To L and Back so far is that the discussion has the perfect blend of humour, nostalgia and critical thinking. The tone is perfect: Kristin and Riese have a great rapport and it just sounds like a couple of lesbians discussing the show and how it relates to their lives (which technically is exactly what it is).
