Thoughtful, interesting, one of my favorite radio
The topics are varied, the interviews excellent. I've been listening to TTBOOK for several years and was so glad to find it on Stitcher. I can't imagine a more consistently high-quality hour of radio. You will be a more informed human for listening to Jim Fleming and his team.

especially now, when all things are pandemic/political, this production provides fascinating explorations in so many directions.. at the same time relating it all to where we are now. i’m so glad WPR survived scott walker!

This show presents an array of topics over a couple weeks that always keep me coming back for more! Each topic is analyzed from a different perspective, often from a different PRI contributer/producer. Think This American Life but less on the re-run portion. Keep up the great work guys (and gals)!

I don't disagree with the reviewers who find fault in this podcast's inclination to engage in a bit too much navel-gazing and mysticism, but overall the podcast is really quite good. I do find myself skipping more episodes than I do with other shows, but when it's good, it's good.Read full review »
