Description
And so it continues. Last week, Melanie interviewed Todd on TRUE STRENGTH. And it went DEEP. And we had a record number of feedback and comments on the book and the podcast episode. Thank you.  This week, Melanie is back in the podcast house but we are reversing roles. Todd is asking Melanie the tough questions in regards to the book and the toughest 3.5 years of Todd’s life. Todd doesn’t hold back asking the tough questions, including how this entire saga impacted their relationship. We hope you are ready for this one because it’s about to get even deeper… Without further ado, let’s dive into today’s IMPACT SHOW podcast. Here is some of what Todd asked Melanie: Well, we got through 3.5 years of hell. Can you please summarize ALL of it in a nutshell? How did all this impact you, good and bad? Do you think this made our relationship better or worse and what was the toughest time for you through all of it? For you personally, how would you describe “True Strength” and can you share a time of your life (other than the last 3.5 years) that epitomized “True Strength” for you? A big part of the book’s proceeds go to Suicide Prevention and Mental Health. Why are you so passionate about that? Let’s talk about the book TRUE STRENGTH. You played a major part of the book as well as the 3.5 year era that if covers. What is your favorite part of the book, TRUE STRENGTH? What was the hardest part for you to see and experience during this 3.5 year period? Sleep apnea. Back pain. 2-surgeries. Potential CTE. Selling the business. You never wavered in your belief and support in me. WHY? What was the hardest part of ALL of this for you? Our relationship. How do you think this impacted our relationship, good or bad? Faith. What role did it play? What are you most excited for in the future? Is it true that you are writing “TRUE STRENGTH” (Part 2) this Fall 2024? The Durkin IMPACT Foundation. A portion of the proceeds of the book are going back to the Foundation to raise money for Suicide Prevention and Mental Health. Talk about your future with the Foundation and your vision of how your future looks in terms of the Durkin IMPACT Foundation.  What a great episode.
