Fishing and the Good Life!
I first discovered Tom Rowland’s work through, of all ways, his knot videos on the Saltwater Experience website. I found his podcast earlier this year at episode 2 with Will Taylor, and have been an avid listener since. Tom’s podcast purports to be about fishing and the outdoors but is really about much more. He and his guests have a knack for telling stories about that big one that they landed and those even bigger ones that they didn’t, but those stories are really about things far more significant than one fish caught or lost. He and his guests help me to envision and to remember the things of a good life. They remind me of hiking around Jenny Lake with a girl who would become my wife, of the smiles of my first born at catching her first blue fish in the North Carolina surf, of late night boat rides with friends on the Pamlico River, of airplane landings on far-away tarmacs. The production value is high and Tom and his guests are honest, open, and share lifetimes of interesting experiences. I encourage all of you to give this podcast a listen and I offer Tom a thank you for making a high-quality product available to us all for free. Thanks, Tom! We’re looking forward to many more great episodes!

I have known Tom since middle school. Appreciate the varied topics. Best part is listening to these with my boys (20 & 16). Oldest son wants to train with Tom. Youngest wants to fish with him. Tom & Turner edition has been the favorite so far

Well over 20 episodes in now and this podcast series does not disappoint. Tom does a phenomenal job crossing the gap from fishing to much bigger concepts without spinning off center. Great stuff!
