The Gang of Four! - CJAD News Anchor Trudie Mason, founder and editor of Ricochet.media Ethan Cox, and political pundit Anne Lagace-Dowson … Topics A video has surfaced of a student at a Calgary university being told that he is not allowed to wear a red ‘Make America Great Again.’ Fellow students confronted him and told him he needed to remove the hat because its message threatened the rights and freedoms their classmates, and that the university is a “safe space.” The hat was snatched off of the young man’s head and he was asked to leave the public area that they were in, before the video ended. Jimmy Fallon hosted Donald Trump on the Tonight Show last night. They seemed to have a bit of fun with one another. And that isn’t sitting too well a lot of people on twitter. Jimmy Fallon was the topic of over sixty-five-thousand tweets overnight. Many of which call him a traitor for treating another human being like a human being. I imagine those same people would have had no problem with an identical interview with Hillary Clinton. Is Jimmy Fallon a racist because he interviewed Donald Trump? A Judge has ruled the the STM’s practice of checking riders tickets inside the stations is unconstitutional. Until now, riders can be fined if they fail to provide proof that they paid for a ticket, even after they have passed through the turnstile. This - unfairly - assumes the guilt of every rider. Are STM passengers innocent until proven guilty? A High School in Repentigny plans to hold an “ethnic picnic” for their students, but has asked that students do not bring any dishes that contain peanuts, walnuts, seafood, and pork, so as to accommodate every type of student that happens to come through. Was this the right decision? Should pork have been prohibited? The largest union at the MUCH is calling the proposed merger between the MUHC and two west island medical organizations “Crazy” and has threatened to mobilize its membership against it. Is the merger a bad idea? A Montreal woman had some harsh words for Denis Coderre’s proposed pitbull ban, but was silenced by the Mayor before she was allowed to finish. Video shows Coderre asking the technical staff in the room to “cut the mic” on Kim Doucet. What do you make of this whole thing?
