This show is great! I wish the seasons continued because there’s so much to watch!

This is quite a fun show with a good host and entertaining guests. With so much to watch there should be more!

This show is such a delight. I’ve enjoyed the episodes covering shows I’ve seen just as much as (maybe more than?) those I haven’t. Love that each comes in under an hour and that the guests bring their keen industry expertise in their feedback. Oh please bring us more seasons!

I love this podcast and the interesting conversations between the guests and stuff. Cannot wait to see what tv shows will be done in the future…give me more please!

This was great. I’ve listened to all of them over a week and I haven’t even watched a few of the shows. Need more please.

Great show! Binged it all in one day!

…and was excited to see a fairly recent Podcast with him, as well as a great concept. I’ve listened to the Dexter and GoT episodes so far and I’m all in. Veronica Mars and Good Wife are next! Is there Shield and Wire…not sure but I plan to find out. Funny, informative and entertaining.

I hope this show is coming back! What an ingenious concept—the guests and host are fun, and it’s a blast hearing their reactions. Keep it up!

Love this podcast but would love to have you review Felicity; One Tree Hill and Everwood. Thanks I’ll keep listening!

This is one of those podcast that you never think would work, but totally does due to a gifted editor.

Such a great pod! Are they going to start making them again? Hoping for new episodes soon!

Enjoyed hearing this so far. Paul Sheer and Dexter one had me rolling. I hope you get someone for Nip/Tuck.

Great guests, fun premise. I particularly loved the episode with Nick Offerman and Megan Mulally, I’d love to see more multiple guest eps in the future.

As someone who watches countless hours of tv there’s still so many gems I’ve put off watching so I love this concept. What a fun way to convince me to finally watch The Leftovers and Dexter and I’m not even bothered that I know the endings now!

Dommage pour les pubs Google Home qui cassent un peu le rythme des épisodes, mais le podcast est très bon et plutôt original, et on apprend plein de petites anecdotes sur les acteurs invités.

It’s so fun to hear from so many great guests, plus the insights of A.S.!

This podcast is a perfect way for listeners to relive their own viewing experiences of the shows they love through a celebrity’s eyes. Also a great way to learn about new shows that they haven’t watched.

I could listen to Jon Hamm talk about gossip girl for an hundred hours. It’s so fun to hear both Alan and the guests be fans of each other and TV, and the conversations are always interesting and full of mutual respect.

As if revisiting some of these shows with Alan wasn’t enough, the guests are A+ selections. This is such a fun show. Highly recommended.

This podcast is a delight! Original premise and super fun to listen to it. But what I perhaps enjoy most is how the respect and admiration Alan’s guests have for him, his opinions, and writing shines through. It’s just very satisfying to hear that in a podcast as Alan’s writing has been so...Read full review »

Such a great concept and it’s great to hear people talk about shows everyone liked or at least enjoyed watching. Alan has also been on The Bill Simmons podcast before and he’s a critic that is always fair and never overly negative or mean. I can’t wait for more episodes!

Really enjoyed the podcast! So fun hearing the insights behind making a show. Hope for next seasons: FNL, Lost, Mad Men would be awesome

So great, couldn’t stop listening. Glad I have seen all of the Tv shows covered, because that made the responses so funny. Amazing and insightful guests and great show choices.

I absolutely love this podcast. I was excited when I saw Alan tweet about it coming out and it has not disappointed at all. I have found it’s a great listen whether or not I have watched the show in question, and in some cases been relieved to only go through the show in this way instead of...Read full review »

Have listened to many Sepinwall podcasts over the years and this one really taps his strengths. The actors show unique insights, analyzing which characters will emerge as significant and how pilots plant plot points. List of guests is v impressive.

So happy to hear Alan on a new podcast. I love to hear fresh perspectives on some shows that I followed relentlessly. The summaries are hilarious! Alison Brie made me kind of like the GOT finale. ☺️

This helps me get the jist of shows that I also missed and helps me know enough to either understand popular references to the show, OR, enough to draw me in and want to dive completely into the show in a new fun way. For shows I have already seen, I really enjoy hearing the first-time...Read full review »

So good to hear Sepinwall host a podcast again. The premise is great. I like the shows where I’ve seen the series already best, but I’m enjoying all of them, and maybe I’ll add a few new series to my “to watch” list. In the meantime, I have to go rewatch all of Parks & Rec, now...

I starting listening to this podcast and I cannot wait for the next episode. These are so fun and great to listen to. Although you can skip the Sophia Bush one as she is hard to listen to. Every other one is amazing!!

I just found this podcast and I love the premise of it, and it’s so fun to know that actors love watching tv as much as the rest of us! I’d love to see Friday Night Lights, The OC, or New Girl covered!!
steviemaee via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/02/21
Just listened to the first two episodes and I love the premise! It was fun to hear Alison Brie’s scary accurate predictions on GOT (a show I already knew), and wild to hear about the ending of Gossip Girl (a show I watched but never finished). The only complaint is the “quiz music” that played...Read full review »

I’ve listened to the Gossip Girl episode having never seen the show as well as Game of Thrones which I’d seen all of and both were enjoyable, so it seems you can still listen even if you’ve never seen the show. I do look forward to more of my favourite shows being discussed, and who knows, maybe...Read full review »

I really enjoy this so far. Whether you’ve seen the show or not the episodes are still entertaining. I am knocking one star however because they’re a little too short. I understand they only get a limited amount of time since they’re booking pretty big stars but I wish they spent a little more...Read full review »

Alan is a GOAT and I love the concept of the show.
ms_noodle81 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/21/21
Love the guests, but it comes down to the show. The Veronica Mars pod doesn’t work as well in terms of what the pilot sets up and where the finale leaves off, but it still made for an interesting conversation. The central idea is an interesting thought experiment, but I wonder about the “So...Read full review »

I thought the first two were really fun listens.

I’ll admit I was skeptical of this premise, but I will always give an Alan Sepinwall podcast a chance. I’m glad I did because this one is lots of fun! I just hope the caliber of guests can continue at this level because the bar has been set very high by the first 2 episodes!
Wildcat3514 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/18/21
The idea behind this podcast hooked me, and after listening to the first two episodes I can’t wait for the rest. I am a fan of both Jon Hamm and Alison Brie, so it was interesting to hear them talk candidly about shows as they watched them for the first time. Glad that Alan is podcasting again. This was much better than I expected because of how game the guests were. I hope future guests live up to Hamm and Brie. (Minor criticism: the ask the audience bit is a little corny)

A great concept for a really fun podcast! There's too many shows to watch and catch up on, so it's a terrific experiment to hear what it's like for someone to watch the first and last episodes of a show only.Read full review »

I like the premise of this podcast, but beware if you haven’t seen a show that it will be spoiled proper for you. It’s an interesting concept that helps listeners understand how TV narrative drama works to unfold over several seasons. My reservation is that this will do a disservice to shows that...Read full review »

This is a solid idea for a podcast and a smart and thoughtful host and TV critic. Looking forward to when a celebrity experiences Seinfeld for the first time.
