We are beyond excited to welcome our World Famous Celebrity Guest Justin Johnson who is best known by his stage name Alyssa Edwards. Justin is not only a friend but family, who we love dearly and are so happy to have him on the show to celebrate our 300th episode. We talk about his dance studio Beyond Belief Dance Company in Mesquite, TX where he is celebrating 20 years of being the Steven Spielberg of dance. He is creating powerful stories through his dances and his life is fulfilled when he watches his dancers perform on stage. He thanks his Earth Angel Michelle Sherrard who helped him get started with the studio. We get to know how Justin grew up in Mesquite with his 4 sisters, Mom, very strong Dad and his granny. Justin was a natural born leader but wanted nothing to do with football or baseball, which was very disappointing to his father. Justin believes that dance saved his life. When he was young he was too shy to talk to people but expressed himself through dance. Justin makes a passionate appeal that in our world today gay people shouldn't have to "COME OUT" anymore. Back when he did he had the full support of his granny who told him that when she looked into his eyes when he was born she would love him for the rest of her life and love who he loves. Justin does say that watching Philadelphia with Tom Hanks traumatized him at the time. For years he was the real life Hannah Montana of Mesquite because he didn't want anyone to know that he started doing drag, because he was afraid of being judged. We get to know all about how he got started in drag and how he was crowned Miss Texas, Miss USA and Miss America and Miss All American Goddess. He was the Vanessa Williams of drag after getting dethroned. The world famous Shangela was back up dancing for him at the time. He talks about how the "Rose Room" at the S4 club in Dallas was like a wonderland to him and that room changed his life. We find out how he chose Alyssa Edwards to be his stage name. We learn about the coolest surprise that MTV did for him later on in his career. We end part 1 with talking about Rodney Johnson from Rodney's Dancing Zone which was a shock for all of us.......
