“I have been listening to Tooth & Claw for several years now. When finances allowed, I was a Grizz Club member which exceeded expectations. I see the podcast like that scene in Ratatouille when Remy hears different music with each bite but when he eats the bites together a symphony plays. Wes (a diploma-verified biologist) provides a contagious reverence for animals acting as the figurehead. You know that everything will be backed by science and fact. Even when he is not providing the story, he is able to provide conservation and safety tips.
Now, if that’s all I wanted then I’d pull up animal safety lectures on YouTube and read these books myself. But, like Remy, we need that extra flavor to bring forth a symphony. So, I vote for more Jeff interruptions, more Mike - Charli xcx love and horse hate, and more pre/post-story ramblings. I found my book of the year from Mike (The Will of the Many) and have increased my bench press via inspiration from Jeff. I came for the animals and stayed for the personalities. So bring your bear spray and let the beefy boys bring the rest.”

“Love this podcast, it’s cool to have some experts talk about dangerous animals in a fun way. The stories themselves are interesting but the advice about surviving and avoiding attacks is just good info. The bear episodes were helpful since there’s lots in the backcountry by me.
